These days, securing your files and documents is more important than ever, especially when you store them on an external hard drive. Because of mistaken operations, theft, etc., files always get lost or accidentally deleted accidentally. You can protect your vital data to a certain degree if your hard drive offers password protection.

Password protection is available with WD My Passport. The hard drive has a +256bit AES hardware encryption, which provides a higher level of data security.

It is not possible to encrypt hard drives or to protect files with passwords with WD Easystore. For this reason, My Passport also wins.
