Moto E 2nd Generation

Written by Aishwar Babber
Motorola is now ready with a fresh version of the much popular Moto E, and this time its Moto E 2nd Gen. This would probably a new line up to the lower budget smartphones such as Xiaomi Redmi 2, Lenovo A600 etc.

As per the website Bust Buy, the new Moto E will sport a 4.5-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display, and is said to be powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, which is the same as last year’s Moto G. Additionally, it may have a LTE enabled chip which could either be the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 or even the newer Snapdragon 410. The phone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and will also support 4G LTE

Moto E 2nd Generation

Just to compare the original Moto E had a 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, expandable memory with microSD. `

Moto E 2nd Generation is just priced at $99, which seems pretty average for the specs it has to offer. As Xiaomi Redmi 2 has a lot more to offer at around the same price. And it will hopefully become official very soon. So, whether to go for a phone with high specs with a low customer support (Xiaomi Redmi 2) or with a phone that offer average specs with a good brand (Motorola Moto E 2nd Gen) ? This choice totally depends on you.
