And for that we need to Map out Our goals in two different ways.
- Goals under your control
- Goals that are not in your control
Create a Blogging goal for a month or a week for both types of goals stated above i.e goals under control and goals not under control, and mention all those things that you want to accomplish within that time frame.
Write down all the things including how many blog posts you will publish, how much content promotion you will do, what promotion tactics you will use, how much time you will spend in blogging, how much you will post on social media, Write down anything that will take you closer to your end goal.
Write down all the things that you will do for a month, Set a milestone that you have to accomplish those things in a month or a week or whatever the time you set.
Remember: Set small actionable and achievable goals. and as you achieve your goals then the next time raise the bar and set greater number and so on. In this way, your blog will grow a lot faster.
For example – it could be either publishing 4 blog posts a month, posting 10 valuable posts on Facebook groups or it can be anything that moves your blog forward.
Here’s a practical example of a Blogging goal for a month.
|Goals under control||Goals Not in control|
|• No of Blog Posts to publish Per months = 8||No of Visitors per month = 10000|
|• No of Value providing social media posts to publish in a month = 10||No of unique Comments per Blog Post = 15|
|• No of email newsletters to send out in a month = 5||No of social media followers in each Network = 1000|
|• Amount of Time you will spend on Blogging per day = 2 Hours||Money you will Generate in a month – you don’t know how much you will make|

Write down those goals in a piece of paper in the exact same manner as I described In the above table by Creating two different sections – goals under control and goals that are not in kur direct control.
After Writting down all those goals in a piece of paper and stick it somewhere where you will see it everyday. It could be at the back of your laptop or at the back of your door, or at the door of your fridge etc.
